Just Waiting

Neysa and I relaxed in the hotel room today. We ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner in. Neysa made it to the gym and I've been relaxing, napping, reading and working a little.
We spoke to dad twice and he seems to be very anxious to get his hair washed. The Doctor's are talking about moving him out of ICU but haven't told us a day yet. Neysa and I plan on making a trip to the hospital tomorrow to try and get my drainage bag removed and check in on dad. We're really hoping we can catch them moving him tomorrow. This morning the Doctor told us he had produced 300ml. Good news.

  1. This is all great news!! So glad you are relaxing and taking care of yourself and that Neysa is getting to working out and taking care of herself. Also, joyous news about the Doctors even thinking about Mike getting out of ICU. Progress is great even though it was a little slower than we all wanted. Have a great day! My prayers are still with all of you every day.
    Love and hugs,
    Mom

  2. I'll try again to post something. Al has mastered this but not me!! Can you tell it is his work week? We look for new info every day and you are never off our minds. If that could heal you both, you'd be home already. You are still in our prayers every day.
    Love,
    Sandy & Al

  4. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Remember Renee to stay away from all those camels and coodies out in town! They will start banning you from your dad, also.

Ruben had been staying here this week since his last surgery. He laughed to see you two have so much in common right now! He definately can identify with you. Hopefully the two of you will be able to leave your side-kicks behind soon!

It is nice to see you back in touch with this side of the globe again. It is also amazing to think that your Uncle (and I) may have been there instead of you. We cannot begin to think what would have happened to Ruben if we were there! Things happen for a reason, and God definately has the control over the game-plan. We had to be here for Ruben. He has had a hard time since his first surgery on the 22nd last month.

So, it is late and I need to get some sleep. Hope you are resting more comfortably at the hotel without all the noise that you talked about at the hospital. You three are constantly on my mind and in my heart! XOXOXO

  7. Happy Sunday little love bugs!! Ty and I are dorking out and chillen to some Science channel ejumacation pertaining to volcanic combustion and different lava compounds. Stellar brain food I tell ya! The beau sends his love to all of you and says he hopes Renee and uncle Mike start to feel some indian healing mojo very soon-xoxo! We're working on sending you something clever very soon, but we have to edit a few things and decide on how to deliver it (I think we may post it to the blog I made for your pops since we can't post it to yours). Don't worry I'll be sure to fill you both in as soon as our little creation is complete-heehee! Renee how do your boxer abs feel today? Are you still feeling like Tyson went in for the kill on you? Neysa how is Tosh? I bet he misses you like crazy, especially the creative cooking part of you =). Are both of you planning to head to Denver once Renee begins to feel better or are you heading back to Cabo? Can I reach you girls other than on the blog? My Mac doesn't have a cool camera, but Ty's does so perhaps we can skype-Even though I still have no idea what that technically means...Okey dokey my superstar cuddins, my inner fat girl (Beula Bernice) is calling me for something tasty to munch on so I'm going to head out, but I love you so very much!!! Besos grande...Drina

  8. Hi Renee, Neysa and Brother,
Yet again I am bringing up the rear. So busy here for not being able to do much. The last 48 hours have been difficult at times. I believe the official snow depth was at 24 inches. I'm not sure how they can measure depth when it would snow, then rain, then snow again. One thing I do know is that I am very sore from shoveling, plowing and snow blowing.
Had to use the snow blower before I was able to plow because the snow was to heavy to push with the plow, then had to shovel all the areas unable to reach with either.
Then had to repeat the process at three different times because there was so much, so deep and so heavy. Oh well, so much for my complaining.
So glad to hear the updates. I can't believe it has been almost two weeks since surgury. You all have been totally amazing! Even with the set backs, it's truely a miracle how the two of you have progressed.
Neysa, your dad and sister are so fortunate to have you there and we are to! You have done a wonderful job keeping us in the loop.
Hope the week brings improvements all the way around. Love you guys, Uncle Dave, Joyce, Danni and Alli

Great Video! You two look like angels with those lights behind you. Right on top of your head where the halo goes. Renee you look good. Still alittle hard to relax the abds and let your shoulders down. But that will come with time. Glad to hear you've been released. Neysa you are an angel. Giving so much to Renee and your Dad. Thanks from us too. All our prayers are with you.
Love ya, Uncle Rick and Aunt Mary
