Transplant Cafe

Now that we have some down time and my Internet is working well, I've been doing some research and wanted to share a site I found called Transplant Cafe. You can check it out here: http://transplantcafe.com/forum/topics/we-are-in-india-for-the

I really hope Liver Let Live will help uninsured people in the United States who feel their options have been exhausted. Please share Liver Let Live with as many people you know who are affected by family members needing transplants. Perhaps we can save more lives this way!

  2. I found these other blogs for you. This first one has a video with Dr. Gupta in it so it was good to "meet him" and to see a video with such praise for the program and the hospital where you are!!

I can't figure out who is writing that blog, perhaps his wife? Dr. Anshu Gupta?

The blog is a little hard to read with all the google ads, but interesting none the less.

This one is the journey of a Liver transplant here in the states...sounds VERY different from your experience...being called at 10pm to be told there is a liver...rushed to the hospital then wait until morning to find out if it is viable? Not very frequently updated, but I be if you commented there you might get word back about how things are now.

Just doing my part as the techie geek of the group! Do you guys have a video camera? I am sure your family back home would love to see a video, even if it is just a short one from your camera! Come on Renee it is time for Vlogging!

  3. Hi Renee,
I just read through all of your posts! So interesting and amazing. I am really proud of you for doing this. I know its just what had to be done, but you seem so graceful about the whole thing. I love the part about "your husband". Yep! He is now, huh!
We sure missed you last week, but got a lot of people interested in what's going on!
    Much love to you-

  4. Renee, I'm so glad that you're keeping this blog so that we can all be a part of this with you, even though you're so far away! Everyone missed you at convention, but Kelly & crew did a great job of taking you everywhere possible. Heart hugs to you, dear friend!

  5. Thinking of you and your family. Tomorrow is the beginning of Holy Week and most people will be only thinking of sacrifice, but you are doing it without batting an eye. I admire your courage.

    Best Wishes ~
